Assembled, not coded.
The home page is a stack of sections the staff arrange themselves: drag a row, use the arrows, or untick Show to take a section off the page. Each row says in a sentence what it does and where its content comes from, and the hero stays pinned first. Nothing goes live until someone presses Publish.
Carousels that fill themselves, until you'd rather they didn't.
The IFPDA gets the best of both worlds, curated carousels when they want to and auto-populated ones when they don’t. Curation is as easy as dragging and dropping a program, and the option to revert back to auto-populated carousels is always there.
Exhibitions that file themselves.
Exhibitions are entered once, with their member, city, and dates. From there the site works out the rest: what is on view now, what opens soon, what has closed, and where each one belongs on the home page. Nobody has to move anything when a show opens or closes.
The whole membership, one screen.
Every gallery, publisher, and print dealer in the association, searchable as you type, with its city and joining year on the row. A member's profile is edited in one place and appears everywhere it is referenced — the directory, their exhibitions, the fair.
No training session. No manual. No call to us to change a date.
